Today I have done something that I felt (at times) was never going to happen – I have finally sent off my completed manuscript for what will be titled Simple Minds: Song by Song. It has been a long, hard slog but with luck it will be published some time in 2026 and then I can actually possibly feel comfortable with the notion of calling myself a writer/author. (Shrugs.)

Lol. Cheeky! I’ve tried as much as possible not to make it look as if it is a glorified Jim Kerr book visually. There are some full band photos, as well as photos of Charlie and other past members, as well as some images that don’t feature the band (gig posters, ticket stubs and the like) – so I hope it looks balanced! *praying hands*
