Craig Charles Interview With Hamish Hawk – BBC 6 Music 20/01/2025

Posted on January 20, 2025January 23, 2025 By Priptona No Comments on Craig Charles Interview With Hamish Hawk – BBC 6 Music 20/01/2025

I caught this interview this afternoon. This man is so lovely and so humble, I cannot wait for the gigs to come in a few weeks time. First I’ll be off to Aberdeen, then a couple of days later I’ll make my way down to The Toon (aka Newcastle), then it’ll be a patient wait until Edinburgh and my first ever gig at Usher Hall.

In the meantime, enjoy Hamish in a chatty yet wonderfully modest tone discussing the excitement of the past 12 months, working at Assai records in Edinburgh, the success of the release of A Firmer Hand and the anticipation of the tour to come.

The interview is broken for the playing of latest single ‘Disingenuous’ – which you can find as a live recording from their recent appearance at Rockaway Beach below.
