Justin’s Just A Fanboy Of Field Music

Posted on January 13, 2025January 13, 2025 By Priptona No Comments on Justin’s Just A Fanboy Of Field Music

Peter and David Brewis became aware of this quite quickly – and why not? The guys were flattered to see Justin Hawkins go all new fawning fanboy over their music and so they should. I should think there is no finer accolade than a musician appreciating and showing enthusiasm for follow musicians’ musical prowess and Justin certainly goes into the details of what makes Field Music so unique – more than mere mortals like me who find it a difficult thing to express exactly what that “X Factor” is when we find music captivating.

If you have a spare 20 minutes, you might like to watch this particular episode of Justin Hawkins Rides Again to view him wax lyrical about Sunderland’s finest musical export.

Of course, they were due to be my first gig for 2025 but now I am sneaking in a wee Franz Ferdinand show tomorrow evening (which is tre exciting!) but Field Music will be my first PROPER FULL-LENGTH gig of this year when they play Oran Mor on Sunday 2 February and I am really looking forward to it.

As Justin labelled his episode on them – thank you for the Field Music. Amen!
