New Hamish Hawk Release – Plus EP Coming Out In September

Posted on May 13, 2025May 14, 2025 By Priptona No Comments on New Hamish Hawk Release – Plus EP Coming Out In September

On Friday morning there was a teaser on Hamish’s socials about news coming along on Monday. We were then informed that a new cover would be getting its first airing on Steve Lamacq’s show on BBC 6 Music and just before 6pm the tune dropped. And sooo like Hamish, it was a curveball to be sure – a cover of Madonna’s ‘Burning Up.’

The EP it will appear on is called Covers II and is due for release on 5 September. Lamacq also informed us that a cover of Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams’ also appears on the EP.

It will be very interesting to see if we get any tasters of other songs at Bellahouston Park next month? Will be fair enough with such a short set that he’ll concentrate on his own tunes for that, but perhaps we may get a song or two from it at Fringe by the Sea at North Berwick in August? Time will tell! I hope this means there will be a small pocket of dates for HH come September. I know! I’m a greedy cow! Lol. But one simply cannot get enough of Hamish!

More details on Covers II when they land. Exciting times at camp HH that’s for certain!
