Prip’s World This Week – w/e 16 November 2024

Posted on November 17, 2024November 17, 2024 By Priptona No Comments on Prip’s World This Week – w/e 16 November 2024

It has been a very, very busy week. Birdy and Sue came to stay. We went to Derek’s night at St Luke’s together, the next day there was a tour of the Barrowland Ballroom, Friday was lunch with Birdy and Michelle and yesterday I attended the opening of the Rebels and Renegades exhibition at the Street Level Photoworks at 103 Trongate. The exhibition is of selected photographic works of both Jill Furmanovsky and Sheila Rock. They have a room each of their work on display. Sheila’s includes a photo she took as New Gold Dream promotional photos in 1982. A note on the exhibition – it will be running until 23 February 2025. If you live locally or will be coming to Glasgow over the next few months, I highly recommend a visit to the exhibition. I believe the Street Level Photoworks is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-5pm.

Anyway… the photos below are just some pictorial highlights (there are a few others to add) and I go into more details about some things with a Vlog Post (Sorry, not much time for writing this week – assignment due on Thursday).
