While my ideas for this blog seem to be a well that’s drying up, in the meantime it feels as if my blog is being ‘mined’ for ideas and inspiration for the SM social media – which is a bloody nice thing if so. I honestly don’t mind. The things may as well be of use to someone – and why the heck not it be for the good of the people at the very top?
These little quotes from Jim (and sometimes Charlie) that are being aired on their socials at the moment. It reminds me of the things that I would hope would come from the artwork I used to do, you know? Little collabs that might have been able to take place. I was trying my best to be ‘a dreamer that does’ too – in my own way.
Here’s my own little bit from The Race Is The Prize (the pedantic in me now knows that book titles should be in italics, whereas chapters referenced from books should be in quotations. Those at the SM socials can thank me later for that info. Lol).
For want of a Minds Music Monday post (perhaps they are going to take up the mantle of that as well? Who knows?) today – let’s share this little quote. It’s not the best of my work. It’s not as good as most of the little quote pieces I did for my whole SAF/SFC celebration theme, but it’s something.
Not adhering to my ‘no uni talk’ on this blog today. I am off to the West End in a while to go and collect a library card from the University of Glasgow. Yes! I have access to the uni’s library as an Open University student and this is making me VERY excited today! I intend to look at ALL twelve floors of the University of Glasgow library. You heard that right – TWELVE FLOORS! It’ll be the biggest library I have ever stepped in in my life! I also plan on visiting the Mitchell as well, seeing as I now also have a Glasgow Libraries card, at bleeding last!
A dreamer that does? I think I’m finally getting there!
Happy Monday
