The Anchoress Warms Up In MK In August!

Posted on June 4, 2024June 4, 2024 By Priptona No Comments on The Anchoress Warms Up In MK In August!

Catherine Anne Davies (aka: The Anchoress) is busily working on her third album and thus has a light touring schedule this year with sparse dates. Last weekend she played at Le Pub in Newport, South Wales and the following day headlined the Out and Wild Festival.

Her next major date is 17 August where she performs at Trentham Live supporting Manic Street Preachers. The day before she’ll be performing at the Craufurd Arms in Milton Keynes – an independent music venue that is getting a solid reputation for being one of the best live indy music venues in the UK.

Being in Manchester the night before to see Hamish Hawk showcase his new album, A Firmer Hand, how could I not pop on down to MK to see The Anchoress? I couldn’t waste this opportunity! So, it’s going to be quite the affair for me in the middle of August with two stellar shows back to back. I cannae wait!

Tickets for The Anchoress show are available HERE – Hope to see you there!
