Hamish and Stefan on Front Row – Wednesday Night

Posted on August 15, 2025August 15, 2025 By Priptona No Comments on Hamish and Stefan on Front Row – Wednesday Night

Ahead of the two Fringe Book shows taking place over this weekend, Hamish Hawk and Stefan Maurice appeared on Radio 4’s Front Row where Hamish discussed Ivor Cutler with presenter Kirsty Wark. On Saturday and Sunday nights at the Spiegeltent located at the grounds of the Futures Institute in Edinburgh, Hamish, along with Stefan and Andrew Pearson will be performing Life in a Scotch Sitting Room, Vol.0 – a blend of a retelling of Cutler’s work along with Hamish’s own memories of his childhood in Edinburgh. Both shows sold out in hours. I managed to get tickets for myself and the Other Half for Saturday night and I am really excited to go.

In the meantime, enjoy Hamish’s short chat with Kirsty Wark with a performance of Cutler’s ‘Beautiful Cosmos’ at the end.
