On Sale Now – As Part Of National Album Day

Posted on October 19, 2024October 19, 2024 By Priptona 1 Comment on On Sale Now – As Part Of National Album Day

Today sees the release of repackaged editions of Big Music – in celebration of its 10th anniversary (which is a more timely – and slightly more welcome – release than the Sparkle 40th anniversary rehash) for National Album Day. Available in two formats: a 2LP 140gm orange colour vinyl, and a 2CD set in a 7 inch gatefold sleeve with additional liner notes from Jim Kerr. CD1 contains the album, CD2 contains the bonus material that was included in the 2014 deluxe CD edition, plus the Simple Minds v Stranglers recording of (Get a) Grip (on Yourself) as well as the Johnson Somerset remixes of Blindfolded, Midnight Walking, Honest Town and Big Music.

Available in all good record outlets – you can see more info at simpleminds.com
