UPDATE: NEW DATE FOR NGD RADIO SHOW
I now feel truly able to relax for a few weeks as I have had my grant approved (found out yesterday) and I’ve been able to complete the registration of my next uni module.
I was relieved to have submitted my final assignment for my first module on Thursday but I still had the apprehension of whether my grant application would be approved in time for the registration for the next module hanging over my head. I hadn’t felt truly able to relax and enjoy the end of my first part of uni study. Until I knew that my grant had been approved and I’d be continuing study in October, I was not feeling able to properly unwind.
Now I do. The way this screen reads is such a relief to me and now I feel properly able to chill and enjoy the rest of September as time off.
The next thing I have to look forward to when it comes to Simple Minds – after Jim being on with Zoe Ball that is, is my own upcoming return to the airwaves! As the date of the anniversary of the release approaches, I will be back on air with Ronnie McGhie at the Pulse 98.4 FM studios in Barrhead to celebrate New Gold Dream’s 40th Anniversary on Wednesday, 21 September at 8pm BST. I had such a blast joining Ronnie last year for the 40th Anniversary of Sons And Fascination/Sister Feelings Call that it was decided we do it all again this year for NGD’s 40th.
I am absolutely bubbling over with excitement (and quite a measure of nerves too – I won’t lie!) to do this again. So…mark it in your diaries! Place a reminder on your phones, etc… Wednesday night from 8pm – September 21st – tune in to Pulse 98.4 FM – you’ll find the link here!
