Love In Recovery – The Best Episode, Ever?

Posted on January 22, 2019October 3, 2023 By Priptona No Comments on Love In Recovery – The Best Episode, Ever?

I brushed upon this series when I posted about Jim’s post about The Leopard abridged audio adaptation on BBC Radio 4.

I’ve listened to this series since its first episode. It’s amazing – but this week’s episode was beyond magnificent. It was just beautiful, the story of Ivy, Oscar and Arthur.
Amazing storytelling…amazing scripts…wonderful acting. If you think all the great storytelling is in film and on TV, you’re missing an element out.

Just look at the cast of this thing! They know! (PS: I miss Eddie Marsan but Johnny Vegas is great)

If you never listen to a single other episode…listen to Ivy. Listen to Oscar’s story. I felt for him so much…because I felt for Ivy – and oh, how I want an Arthur!

Click on the photo and it will take you to the Love In Recovery page where you can listen to episode 4 of series 3 – Ivy.

I’ll grab it tomorrow and keep it here for permanancy.
