I received a message via my blog that was the most beautiful thing I have ever read. I am going to respect the person’s wishes to remain anonymous and their words to be private but, honestly…I can’t even begin to express how this message has affected me and touched me.
Every time I question myself and the reasons I give myself for keeping the blog running…when I think about calling it quits and go quiet because there feels like there is nothing more to say, someone comes along to let me know – to help make me feel like I am doing SOMETHING that is worthwhile.
When it all feels like self-pitying, self-indulgent twaddle on my part and that I just need to “give up” (or ‘do a Stephen Hawking and step off the planet’ as some hater requested of me once) – a person reaches out to me in a way that astounds me.
I haven’t cried in sobs for ages but these tears fell because this person expressed the most profound things to me.
Thank you. You know who you are. I just wanted you to know that your words have meant so very much to me.
