Let’s Rock With The Dreamers

Posted on September 9, 2022October 3, 2023 By Priptona No Comments on Let’s Rock With The Dreamers

I hadn’t mentioned this in my previous post about Sheila Rock (“Jim’s not a poser”. Haha! In the strictest terms of how Sheila was defining “a poser” – then, yeah, he’s probably not one. I’ll give her that) but those photos she had been sharing on her Instagram account for the SAF photoshoot will be appearing in this book of her photographic work called 80s Sound and Vision.

Jim has written a piece for it, which you can see and read if you look through the sample pages on Amazon (link following below). He’s titled it “Dreamers Move Mountains” – a quote that comes from the 1982 film Fitzcarraldo. One that I know made a big impact on Jim at the time, and a film I’d still love to watch myself.

The book is due for release on September 20th and is available to pre-order now. I think I might pre-order it myself. If I don’t get it on pre-order, I’ll definitely buy it on general release.
