Now…where was I? Yes! M3 (aka Minds Music Monday). I distinctly remember Waterfront being the first Simple Minds song I went “WOWZERS!” for when first hearing it on the radio in early 1984 (I know you Brits got it at the end of 1983…but we were a bit behind the time back then “Downunder”). That bass and those drums!! I was hooked…but still a much bigger U2 fan…and kind of set in my ways. Only took me another 31 years to finally give SM the time they deserved from me. Johnny-come-lately says, “better late than never”! Yeah…can I turn back the clock? Lol
Anyway…this is a pretty cracking modern day version of a classic. Thanks for this continuing musical journey, guys. Glad there was room on the bus for me. You’ll have to throw me off it now to get rid of me! Lol
