I can’t work on him any more. Having fixed his nose, sorted out his lips, repainted the iridescent background and corrected the elongated body proportions…I am done. I feel like it’s now a completed work. I am happy, but will never be entirely happy with it. It looks more like him than my previous attempt to paint him.
I may not ever try to paint him again…if I do, it won’t be for several months.
It’ll go up on Etsy, I think. I might as well try and sell it…if I can get a buyer, of course. And…if I can capture it well enough to sell it!
