Competition Time! Win A Mug!

Posted on August 28, 2016October 2, 2023 By Priptona 2 Comments on Competition Time! Win A Mug!

It’s competition time again! How would you like to get your hands on this fantastic Simple Minds coffee mug? Let’s hear a favourite line from a Simple Minds song from you! It doesn’t have to be your favourite song….just a lyric that means something to you, stops and makes you think…or just gives you chills (or thrills!). I have quite a few…but one favourite is “when the other side of midnight calls, remind me I’m glad to be here” from 70 Cities As Love Brings The Fall. It sounds a little morose, but is actually quite optomistic when you think about it.

So what’s yours? Just leave yours in the comments to be entered in the draw. As always, it’s open worldwide. Entries close 23:59 BST September 3rd. Winner announced Sept 4th. Good luck!

Ahh, there are so many, but the first one that came to mind was: ‘We were only young in a whirlpool of warning.’ How great is that? Always feel like I am in a whirlpool of warning? I love it?

And you are right! There are SSOO many! Too many. Of course, I have “I’m singing memories” tattooed on my arm. And I want “In colourful, breathless, emotional sea” on my other arm…sometime. Jim Kerr is quite possibly the best songwriter, ever! (Bias!)
