Today I’ve been baking a date loaf. It’s looking really good and I was having a moment of feeling particularly chuffed about it and then wrote this post on the SM FB wall. Then I thought “given recent outcomes to some of my posts, I’ll take a screengrab – it’ll probably get taken down”. Just to grab it and put it here also, as I know Jim visits this blog sssooo much!

mmm … does look good! Yes agreed I?m also mourning tonight . My plans were late lunch in Glasgow with the troops , sink a few ales and then a walk up to the Hydro. Perfect day and night I?m sure ……esp with this weather! All on hold in this transitional arrestment. Better days ahead . Take care Gavin
