Things in the pipeline…
I’m currently working out the list of SM artworks I’ve done…ones I feel need a redo (if already done) and then work on what is left to do….
I’d love to make a piece of every track on every album, at least. But there are others I know I have done that I’ll need to take into consideration. Things like Kaleidoscope, Special View, Garden Of Hate, and New Warm Skin (that one needs a redo for starters!) have been done.
DEFINITELY NOT going to try one for Life In Oils now. A shame…but really do not want to “kick the hornet’s nest” and stir the “Wrath of Kerr”.
Will there be enough non copyright violating sources I can pull images from to achieve it? Do I need to care so much now? As they are purely going to be fan art and not for sale? Yes, it still plays on me. I can give photographers credit on them…but they are not my images to use or manipulate. If it wouldn’t cost me a bomb to get permission, I would. Things like Kaleidoscope will need a redo. I used a David Corio image for the one I already produced. It’s all gonna take a while. I’d love to have it all done by the band’s big Four Zero…we’ll see.
Also really need to pull my finger out and work on the other commissioned piece I have already been paid for and not delivered yet. A very, very understanding client, with a lot of patience. I REALLY need to deliver on this one. I put pressure on myself by saying that…but I need to. It needs to be really all that I want it to be.
And then there’s that little 10 pack of 7×5 inch canvases I bought. Already have plans for them!
Having plans and an agenda fills me with dread, but equally I need a focus and direction, otherwise I’d get nothing done.
