Oooh…a little bite. A “stop-start” moment. When they were still a part of the “also rans” in my musical fandom. It took another five years from there to flourish into full bloom.

In other news – it was mine and the Other Half’s 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. It slipped both our minds all day. We belatedly celebrated today with a nice Italian meal and a comedy gig at McChuills. We sat front row. The comedienne, Elaine Malcolmson, was talking about confidence. She asked me what I did. For want of anything better, I said I was a student. She asked what I was studying. I told her – Creative Writing. “That takes confidence,” she replied. Does it? Confidence, or delusion? Which one? I’m pretty sure it’s one and not the other.
You?re not deluded at all,pal. It?s something you clearly enjoy doing and you?ll gain more confidence and enjoyment the more you stick at it.
