My friend on Facebook, Sabine, shared this live version of I Would Be Your Slave this morning, and it made me cry. The way David emotes…is just too beautiful! It really made me miss him today.
Heathen is such a wonderful album. I think from what Jim said to me in his reply about Blackstar back in January, that he’s a little dismissive of David’s later work (I can be of some too, I’m not a sycophant!) – but I really would love to win him over to Heathen. If I could just play the album to him…Ah, a girl will dream.
