The Boy King TutanKERRmun

Posted on May 17, 2016October 2, 2023 By Priptona No Comments on The Boy King TutanKERRmun

I go through phases with Simple Minds. For example, if you have been following this blog for a while you’ll remember my complete change of heart about the song No Cure and how UTTERLY embedded in my head it was for WEEKS!

Several songs since have done the rounds. They come and go, jostling for position. Right now it appears to be the turn of Glittering Prize. The fact that there is a video in which Jim Kerr looks absolutely RAVISHING in it only compounds matters! Lol. Because even when I’m not watching the video…I’ve seen it so often, I can play parts in my mind anyway. That hair flick is a particular fave part of it. And after he’s delivered the first part of the first verse. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful man…nor has Jim himself ever looked more beautiful than in those few seconds.

Anyway…let’s just enjoy the video and delude ourselves that it’s all about the music (it is! It really is. But Jim being a beautiful man is just a wonderful bonus!).
