Goddamn! These things ALWAYS hit at the wrong time!
When his boots got auctioned off, I couldn’t bid. And now I doubt I’ll be able to bid on this, either.
It’s the final bit of “holy grail” memorabilia – to have something Jim has worn. But, as I say…the time is wrong and, it’s going to go into the hundreds, pricing me out. Yet again.
A scarf of Jim’s is up for auction on eBay. The proceeds of which are going to a cancer charity – Cahonas Scotland. The bid is currently at £86 with still five days to go.
I’m happy that it’s for charity and will raise a really good sum, hopefully. And damn it, I wish I could bid SOOOO MUCH. Had this been earlier in the year? No probs. I’d have been “in like Flynn” as the Aussie slang goes, but no can do now, sadly.
But if you’re able to, give it a go peeps! And you could end up with a bit of lovely, sweaty, tatty signed memorabilia. You can get dizzy breathing in Jim’s sweat and cologne. OMG! I WANT THIS SCARF! Lol
