Today, my heart just wasn’t in doing a Simple Minds song. It is a rare day indeed when that happens. I even tried not doing a lyric piece, but one of my “Why I Love” write ups instead…and it lead nowhere.
But…this is how it would feel, if I really *could* make a success of the art.
Perhaps it is already a success? In the sense that I love doing it, and there are those who see it that love it too?
If only love and admiration paid the bills though…
Bjork’s words are so positive, so uplifting, so hopeful! This song makes me cry like a child for all the hope and love that is in it. It is my favourite song of hers and one of my favourites, full stop.
It is beautiful.
