Few And Far Between For 2023

Posted on January 19, 2023September 17, 2023 By Priptona No Comments on Few And Far Between For 2023

Tonight I have my first of a sparse array of gigs for 2023. This one requires a trip to the Scottish capital and a first for the venue of the Liquid Room. A venue John Grant was originally going to play at, pre-Pandemic, which then got altered to the Barras. I was ecstatic about the change, initially, but then circumstances and events changed, and, yep…I decided not to go. When the gig took place it still felt far too risky.

Plans for today are…a visit to the castle. Not actually been anywhere near the castle since 2002, so… that calls for a perusal methinks. Also there will be dining at a middle-eastern establishment called Hanam’s. It’s all about the baklawa, baby! Lol

The gig tonight is to see Kula Shaker. Not a band I know much about. I am very much going as Birdy’s “wingman” tonight. It’ll all be new to me. Not even really explored any of their music, either, so I’m going in pretty blind.

No doubt there will be a follow-up to come.
