Counting The Days To Hamish Hawk At St Luke’s.

Counting The Days To Hamish Hawk At St Luke’s.

Got some very exciting things happening soon. One involves the band below. I had to share this here! Hamish Hawk started his tour a few nights ago in Newcastle at the fabulous Cluny. The new album, Angel Numbers, has just been released and I was playing my favourite track off the album to share on…

Five Years…

“My brain hurts a lot…that’s all we’ve got.” May 25th has such a special significance to me now – because it’s the anniversary of this… 2017 is when it happened – and I was hopeful but not expectant. Just hopeful. Never believing I would get greeted in the way I did. I know we shouldn’t…

Simple Minds – A Gift From Heaven – Record Mirror 1982 (May/June?)

Not exactly sure of the date. It just came to me as a clipping. I got it because of that Shelia Rock photo of Jim. God, that is such a wonderful photoshoot. There are some beautiful images of Jim in that white outfit – the jaiket and the “jodpurs” as he called them once. I…

The Tantrum Trail

Tantrum Doughnuts opened their doors back up yesterday so today I was on a mission to walk into the city down to the West End to the original shop on the Old Dumbarton Rd for “open doors” at 10am. They are running to a limited capacity. Making small batches of doughnuts and only having their…
