Hanging Around In Mojo…
Great to see Ronnie Gurr’s Hanging Around photo books getting a write up in the current issue of Mojo magazine. Great for Virginia too! Jonesy was “leery”? Surprised he wasn’t full-on lecherous! Lol. He seems to think he’s “had” every woman he’s ever come across (BAD WORDING!) when he talks these days. Lol Of course…
Walk Between Worlds – Mojo Review, March 2018
Yet another wholly good review for WBW. The wording is favourable (apart from the caning that Acoustic gets…OUCH! HARSH!) …but…a bit disappointed that it then converts to only 3 stars rather than 4…but, it’s good!
Well…He DID Tell Me…
Derek, that is… Around the time I called him a bog… Yeah…that maybe wasn’t a nice thing to do. Oops. ???

Weekend WhirliGIG Wish – Back To Amsterdam, 1980
Back to Amsterdam, for the first night of the two weekend gigs they did on March 22/23, 1980. The second gig was recorded for Dutch radio, this first one is a bootleg…but considering the passage of time and recording techniques for “home jobs” back then (plus endless shares, and shares, retaping, copies of copies), it…

The Stranglers – SHIT HOT!
The first gig of the year absolutely DID NOT disappoint. OMG The Stranglers are frigging AWESOME!!! Just sssooo tight and so ON THE MONEY – right from the off! I just lost myself in what was the most amazing performance of Golden Brown, EVER! No Skin Deep this time…or Duchess, but still absolutely stonking! I…
