Hopeful Melancholy
I enjoyed this short interview Jim had with Jacqui Neal, and her use of the term “hopeful melancholy” – that’s the phrase! Wow! The interview is short and sweet. Enjoy!

The clock ticked past midnight. I was feeling quite tired. I forced myself to stay awake as I really didn’t want to miss the opportunity to give Direction Of The Heart a listen upon its release. I had waited long enough and through not being privy to being allowed to review it prior to release,…
Though probably not actually the expat Johnny-come-latelys among us) …. here’s the Mister chatting to Paul Cashmere of Noise11.com (video interview within post)
With just two days to go now until the release of Direction Of The Heart, Jim and Charlie have been busily promoting the album here, there and everywhere! A recent one for Jim saw him speaking to Jason Rockman. Some surprises up for discussion/pondering here! The next is one I have yet to listen to…

Wholly frigging shit! I’d never be lucky enough, savvy enough, etc, etc, for an opportunity like this to come my way, eh? Goddamn! Oh, well. Maybe I’ll spot them at the Roxy gig on Monday night? Lol. Yeah, I wish! (And I doubt it!) You can read all about their secret filming at Paisley Abbey…
THAT’S the title that Record Collector could (or SHOULD) have gone with for their piece on SM in their latest edition. There’s a great interview with Jim in there and … OH MY DAYS! HAPPY KERRSDAY! A Sheila Rock gem inside too (see pic)! A rare one for Sheila to get Jim covered up. Lol….
