May contain a heavy dose of Jim Kerr
Really sorry this is a review as a vlog post but I wanted to get my review up and posted in good time. Right now I’m just too under the weather to write out a review. My apologies. I tried to be as succinct as possible. I had set myself 45 minutes to review it…

I am being a lazy, drained procrastinator today and posting a vlog post. Of course, it has run over an hour (just a wee bit over) so…if you have a free 65 minutes, you can see what I’m waffling on about (mainly jury service, my reason for not writing the post instead of vlogging it…
I don’t even know where to start with this one, I honestly don’t. It might be a little short and sweet because otherwise I’ll be typing out a 3,000 word post if I try and put it all in! So much happened last night. All the periphery stuff pre and post gig. Let’s just make…

The title of this post sung out like New Warm Skin. UPDATE: There’s a part two! Anyway… needed to purge. Contains swearing!
It is heavenly birthdays for both: One) for the man who probably was only ever overshadowed by some Glaswegian frontman or other for my musical affections (for many a year) – Mr David Robert Jones. He’d have been 77 today. Two) for Mr Elvis Aaron Presley who would have been turning 99 today had he…
One last vlog post until… well, hopefully not until the end of the academic year at least. Sometimes I inexplicably like to waffle. Sorry about that. Once again, you don’t have to torture yourself by watching it. But if you do decide to, strap yourself in! Grab a drink and a snack. Just a word,…
Hamish Hawk: Again, it really is of little surprise that Hamish is here on this list as well. He is the artist I saw live the most number of times this year, having ventured to six live events involving him and/or his band. First was on 16 February – my first time seeing him as…
