I traveled most of the afternoon and into the evening to get here – and as far as the beauty of the town and the scenery goes…it was definitely worth the effort! I even managed to listen to a few Simple Minds tracks on the way from Geneva to Chambery – and without being reduced…
Today is “fly out to some remote, exotic location to see some amazing bands tomorrow” day…but I couldn’t be filled with a higher sense of dread. Also, it now comes on top of knowing my mum is in hospital. She is fine…but under observation, and will hopefully be going home today. But a health scare…
