I think I have seen bits of this footage before…but not this particular clip. Odd kinda version of King Is White…it’s a bit…”busy”… but hey…boy be looking good (queue endless waggling of eyebrows).

Have you ever seen anything more beautiful? (Or wasted…) Is this what Hutch meant by “elegantly wasted”? And, yes, I only managed 120 screengrabs…NOT ALL OF THEM ARE JIM! (Okay…maybe 100 of them are) ???? *cradles self in ‘too much beauty’ painful foetal position ball* (it’s been a while…well…since the Turbett pictures landed anyway)

A really nicely done clean up job of this footage. Looks braw! Date is wrong (as of my posting)…would def. be 1980 as I Travel was released as a single in Sept. 1980. The footage now looks great though…you can see just how “wasted” Jim is…FULL glassy-eye effect. Naughty boy! Ah…those “sherbet straws”, eh? 😉

Nothing THAT rare, that’s for sure! And those acetates are FARKING expensive when they pop up on eBay. Yes! I have looked…but waaay out of my price range for ANY serious contention. Not sure I would ever have anything he’d want…but if I do…well…perhaps I’d part with it for…certain…”favours”….????? Dang! I don’t have anything THAT…
Something different for this week. Radio sessions in 1982. The first two songs…Promised You A Miracle and In Trance As Mission were recorded in February and during the week, but the latter three songs: Someone Somewhere In Summertime, Glittering Prize and Hunter And The Hunted – were recorded on August 13th…a Friday.
