It has been brought to my attention that today is (reputedly) release day anniversary for SAF/SFC (Dream Giver says release was “August, 1981” – no specific date, Wikipedia says “September, 1981” – again…no specific date). So although I see no confirmed release date, let’s pretend it was 35 years ago today.
I love this version – have done from the first time I heard it. I like it more than the “straight out” cover of it. Haters gonna hate! BITE ME!
Jim loves the Johnson Somerset Mix (many of us are also) – and it is awesome…but he neglects the poor, unloved A2A Mix :-(( He must have loved it at SOME point! It was on the single release of Midnight Walking after all. There also doesn’t appear much love for it on YT either, so…
