These photos are AMAZING! Taken of the band during their inaugural tour of Australia in 1981. I just wanted to share these seeing as it’s Kerrsday and the colour photos feature mainly Jim on his own. The final two are my favourites. The colour one has such an atmosphere to it. They’re just stunning photos….

Well, it’s now official. ‘Simple Minds: Everything Is Possible’ (aka The Jim and Charlie Story) has just been plugged for the first time on SM social media. From what I read it’s a 75 minute documentary with interviews of various celebs sharing their love of the Minds, intermingled with the story of the Kerr/Burchill bedrock….
