Aaww! This photo was being used while promoting the Sparkle In The Rain re-issues and deluxe/super deluxe editions – but not in colour!! It’s lovely in colour. Jim is divine :-)) It’s from a 1984 edition of Jackie magazine, but the date of the photoshoot was late 1982.

Song seventeen on the Dream Setlist is Woman. As I’ve no doubt said before, Street Fighting Years and Real Life are my two least favourite albums of Simple Minds. But there are a few more redeeming features I find with Real Life than SFY. Woman is one of them. And Charlie’s riff on this song…
