Oh, something to be happy about! Yay! Still struggling to get my essay together for uni – just refining, editing, wanting to present it well, etc. Other things aside of that too still niggling away too. Never mind! The assignment IS the priority for now. It’s due midday Thursday and I have more incentive than ever to get the thing in on time because… OH MY GOD! I received this email mid morning…
That’s right! The woman who seems never to have too much luck on her side has won tickets to see Franz Ferdinand at the Hydro on Thursday night! I am sssoooo happy! I had been tossing up whether to go to this gig on and off for MONTHS. As soon as they rescheduled it (as it initially clashed with Minds playing at the P&J Live in Aberdeen) I had dithered about buying a ticket. After a while thinking it would be too late to get a good seat and then just knocking it on the head from having erroneously had the due date of my assignment wrong and thinking I’d be concentrating on getting that done.
I saw a giveway for tickets and thought I may as well enter. No harm in trying, right? Well…TA DAAAA! I only bloody went and won tickets! Squeeee!
A much welcome bit of cheer. Now, back to the uni stuff!
