Jim, pre & post short interview on French/Belgian TV before Simple Minds perform Up On The Catwalk. I love all his nervous twitching/mannerisms. The middle one with the swaying and foot stamping is SSOOO freaking CUTE! I could squeeze him! Lol. He is SO PENT UP! Poor baby.
Simple Minds performing (well, lip syncing to) New Gold Dream on Italian music program “Disco Ring” (yeah, I know!) in 1982. The footage is in crap condition…oh but Jim is beautiful. That same suit he’s wearing on The Tube and topless underneath the jacket. Thata bhoy! 😉

Finally got a copy of this Sounds magazine. Have been wanting to get one for MONTHS. Just been biding my time, waiting for a good price. The caption is sadly now very unfortuitous, but the composition of the photo is exemplary. Can’t wait to frame it and have it on my wall :-)) Virginia Turbett…
