In expanding my gig-going horizons, I take a red-eye coach journey overnight towards the end of July to see Caezar. Just announced on their Facebook page (see below) is new album, Time. It will be available to buy in physical form from July 20 – a week before their gig at Oran Mor…but it is…
And counting! Will be here before we know it.
It’s official! Aix-Les-Bains is a GO! Look at that lineup! Dunno the French woman/group…but I’m open to finding out! Never been to a big old European festival before…and just a few days after SOMEONE’S birthday. Aawwwww. Near enough to a birthday gig…seeing as he appears to be taking a few days off for his birthday….
Kinda thinking of it…I must admit. Have done since it was announced…deemed it “pie in the sky” but now have it in mind again. LOOK AT THIS PLACE! And…not just the drawcard of Minds…but Depeche Mode AND The Stranglers too! That setting, though…(the venue is to the bottom right of the foreground…by the marina.
Ooh…one that made it on the album! And a personal fave…in my Top 50 – Murder Story
This one at least made it to demo – Act Of Love (of course, it later becomes a line used in Celebrate “Act of love is a luxury” and Glittering Prize “called an act of love / can you never stop”)
