I had seen another photo in this sequence in which Jim is kissing Catherine’s cheek, but this one is just as beautiful…if not more beautiful because of the eye contact between them. I love these two people so much. They have both given me some of the most amazing experiences of my life this year….
My favourite bits of this one are Jim’s dour, matter-of-fact delivery of “hunter and the hunted”, and that SUPER low keyboard note that is played after it. Dramatic! Those “life moves so fast” lines are so tender and beautiful though…melt.

This is a prime example of why (when I read the article) I thought an article I read about Jim not performing a breathy, romantic vocal until Don’t You (Forget About Me) was utter hogwash! Listen to those “catch me a dream / captured all in heart” lines. They are beautiful and tender. “Only on…

Recommended reads from the mercurial one (quite a list too!)…now to perfect quick reading (not sure that’ll ever happen…there are more books to read than time I will ever have to read them. A shame.)
