Sir, in phone conversation with Ewen Cameron on his Breakfast show this morning. Will there be a tour of Scotland next year? A phrase about the pope and some bears springs to mind…

Earlier this afternoon, Sir Kerr spoke on the phone (recorded a few days ago, I’m guessing) to Matt Everitt about the new release, Live In The City Of Angels. Click on the play button below to listen to the interview.

As for the “Secondhand Simplicity” review title? A lazy alliteration…that’s all it was. I seem to remember it was…
The stories Alice has of his drinking days. How he ever survived, I don’t know. The man must have had (still has, though he obviously stopped drinking LONG ago) a cast iron liver. I’ve got to say, I am looking forward to October and the gig at the O2 in London.

The latest Record Collector looking into the best of Nick Lowe. The bit about The Pretenders’ Stop Your Sobbing. I had NO IDEA that Nick and Chrissie had been an item! You learn something new every day, peeps!
I good little piece about the flash-in-the-pan that was White Town’s Your Woman at the start of 1997. “Better than being a no-hit wonder!” is definitely the best subsequent outlook to have.
I was looking through the latest edition of Classic Rock magazine, saw this little interview with Steve Hillage and my eyes were drawn to the last paragraph. Wasn’t expecting him to be name-checking Jim. Very nice.
Having listened to the Kyle Meredith interview with Jim…I need to repost this. Goddamn you WordPress! Why do you only allow a single reblog of a post?! Because I already reblogged this lalte last year, I can’t reblogged it again to show up in that way… So here is a link to my thoughts on…
