It’s on and…looking good! Singularly the most expensive bit of Minds memorabilia I’ve bought (£75!) On second thoughts…maybe the Themes set was more expensive. Think that might have been £95. It was a big outlay anyway!
OH MY GOOD LORD! On the rarity scale of Simple Minds memorabilia…fewer things could be more highly prized (a GLITTERING PRIZE indeed!) than the Glittering Prize compilation on laser disc. Just…wow! Was almost as much as a house mortgage…but hey ho! The Good News From The Next World vinyl is STILL shrink wrapped and unplayed! …

I don’t care that he’s wearing what looks like a bib or a “hair catcher”. I don’t care that his hair is dyed black…it looks awesome! I love the cut. STFU! I love how pale he is (deliberately overdone), or how thin he is…he is BEAUTIFUL! An absolute prince! So, enjoy this lovely clean copy…
Our bhoys will be back on Top Of The Pops from 1982 on the BBC Four repeat that’ll be aired next Friday November 25th (Acoustic vinyl release date – coincidentally!). This time they’ll be “performing” (it’s a mime/lip synch) Glittering Prize. They actually went in and recordered it TWICE! So…it begs the question…will it be…
