9.59 am I phoned the Southbank Centre to join the queue for tickets to Manic Street Preachers – supported by The Anchoress – about 11 minutes past 11 my call was answered. For how long it had taken to get through, I was not hopeful for tickets. Nine Inch Nails and My Bloody Valentine tickets…
A slight change this week – for what is usually MINDS Music Monday…for this week I wanted to share the new single from the Manic Street Preachers – featuring The Anchoress! A beautiful duet between James Dean Bradfield and Catherine Anne Davies (the Welsh do like a full name, don’t they?). Enjoy!

Amazing and wonderfully excited for Catherine with this inclusion in Robert Smith’s choice of acts for his curation of this year’s Meltdown festival at London’s Southbank. Will definitely be going to see this…with bells on! Tickets are on pre-sale for Southbank Centre members from March 13th, and on general sale on March 15th. More information…

Took my guests to St Albans today. Among the places shown were Empire Records (my first meeting with Catherine taking place there in October, 2016) and to a vintage clothes shop. Some goodies to be had in both. Found recent back issues of Mojo magazine at the record shop…complete with complimentary CDs on the covers…
The poll results are in and Catherine is in the Top 10 of female vocalists, as voted for by Prog magazine readers. Should have been No. 1! Come on! Seriously?! Congratulations, Catherine! Richly deserved!
