Just finished “The Inner Life of Animals: Surprising Observations of a Hidden World” by Peter Wohlleben.
This really was fab and thought-provoking. I must admit to being one of those “science geeks” eager to conclude the “anthropomorphism” of animals clouding judgement sometimes. That’s in contrast to being an empath. Empathy wins! It’s obvious now that ALL animals have feelings…pain receptors, if not “feelings” in the emotional sense…so why should a fly…
