I wish the video of this performance hadn’t been taken down from YouTube…and someone had uploaded such a fantastic clean copy too 🙁 All I have of it is a little animated gif of Jim’s funny little arm movement when he sings “shadows”, and some screengrabbed stills. Anyway…this one tonight really was just a basic…
Ged, just after the one minute mark, unleashing his inner Gene Simmons (hence the title of the post). There are several clips on YouTube uploaded by Jim Powers. Go check them out 🙂
Sorry, Cherisse! Forgive me for stealing this bit…but come on! If I don’t record them…unless you share them on your main IG timeline, these things disappear, so I had to grab it. It’s Bowie talk, after all (though I still say Stage is a better live album…I’m not gonna argue with him and Charlie, and…

I must lose my sense of smell being round him or something. I’ve had the man have his arm around me, TWICE…one of those times I had my head rested on his chest! AND I DID NOT SMELL HIM! Paris is the only time I ever thought I got a whiff. And…heady it was too….
