And…even in the depths of utter disillusionment…I will still make art and find therapy in it…and with a song I’m not even particularly enamoured with.
Let’s continue to try and feign the excitement, shall we? Try and have it not be tainted by being made to feel unworthy… I want to forget what he said. I want to go back to last year…when he was nice and lovely and there was some mutual appreciation going on there. I wonder if…
“I’m in tears again” – and I am. There are some really, really beautiful people who have come into my life from this Simple Minds thing. “And if same day, it should fall through” – they’ll remain with me.

A friend on Instagram (fellow vinyl lover…he shares pics of all the vinyl he plays on any given day) shared this album cover today. I would look at this album nearly every day as a little girl (and most days beg to have it played). I LOVED Suzi and I couldn’t wait to grow up…
