Bowie Related Features In April’s Classic Pop – Ken Scott Interview And Reissued Vinyl Review

A great interview with Ken Scott, talking quite broadly about his time producing Bowie albums Hunky Dory, Ziggy, Aladdin Sane and Pin-Ups. Also a reissue review of the Low/Heroes/Lodger/Stage/Scary Monsters 180gm vinyl albums (for those of us who still haven’t bothered/won ÂŁ500 on a scratch card to “invest” in ANCIANT box set). Can’t say I agree with that final paragraph on the review. They are MOST enjoyable to listen to and that is WHY we listen to them. We don’t listen to them because they are “influential” or “career defining” – we listen to them because they are fucking AMAZING!

Eternal Hero

A wonderful friend of mine in Germany got me a copy of Rolling Stone with a Bowie special inside, and an exclusive 7” vinyl copy of “Heroes” and “Helden”. A genuine collector’s item. I am so, so happy and thankful. There are some really beautiful people in the world.
