Three days until the New Gold Dream box set hits, so here’s another awesome live performance of a track from the album in anticipation. Jim is in full “Anthony Perkins” mode here. Love the lighting on this and how it makes him look like some pale, majestic, new wave prince. Just…beautiful! The whole shebang!
It fizzles out at the end, as a good review (being really harsh about the remixes IMHO!)…but redeem it in the final sentence. Yes, Classic Rock! It was WELL overdue the box set treatment…and we have less than two weeks to wait now! Squeeee!!
I think this guy may be missing the point of what constitutes “journalism” and his journalistic “duty”. Lol. Just…wow. Really, really do want to get myself a copy of Silver Box. It is a great insight into the band. Some of the demos are not in the best condition, audio-wise, but they are still fabulous none the less. And some songs end up quite different. Jim certainly liked to play around with lyrics! Twist/Run/Repulsion…
