Yep…because I don’t actually live and breathe Simple Minds…and Jim Kerr is just a construct in my imagination… This version of Wasteland was chosen for the original “Simple Minds” end line… (see latest Lyric Of The Day for subtle reference, and check simpleminds.org for the background to the song)
A lovely “early years” post-Christmas gig…full of lovely, baby-faced bhoys, honing their craft. It would be SSOO exciting! Might have even been a chance to have heard this one :-))
Two gigs in one night! Very early days too. Would hear songs that didn’t get recorded when it came to making Life In A Day. It would be AMAZING!! Get in!
