This photo was taken a few years back when Simple Minds and Ultravox toured together. I had always seen the top half of the picture, but on a recent photo search, I notice a separate section of the bottom half. I had forgotten about grabbing that part of it with a view to merging them…
The first Simple Minds song I remember hearing was Promised You A Miracle. I clearly remember seeing the video on this Saturday morning music video program we had on in Oz called Sounds. And I remember loving that X-Ray scanning equipment in the video. The first Simple Minds song I really remember liking was Waterfront….
I know they probably rehearse many songs….but…considering we are a WEEK away from the first Acoustic Tour gig (next Saturday, Essen, Germany)….this makes for very interesting viewing!
