One of the first, if not THE first EVER print interview with Simple Minds from February 17th, 1979, in the NME. The baby, baby bhoys!

German single release of Changeling. The lead and subsequently ONLY single off the Real To Real Cacophony album. The single was released January, 1980. I much prefer this cover to the UK cover. At least we get to see the lovely bhoys on this cover 🙂
The baby boys, circa 1980. From L to R: Derek Forbes, Brian McGee, Michael MacNeil, Charlie Burchill, Jim Kerr.
The guys getting special plaques for selling out the Edinburgh Odeon 3 nights in a row in 1981. From L to R: Edinburgh Odeon rep?, Bruce Findlay (SM’s then manager), Kenny Hyslop, Jim Kerr, Derek Forbes, Michael (Mick) MacNeil, Charlie Burchill. And quelle surprise, Virge gets a great shot of Jim, AGAIN!
Oh, stop looking at me, you gorgeous man!! 😉 Ooh, there appear to be some other people there too!
Jim Kerr – oh, and the rest of Simple Minds 😉 See, Virginia Turbett knew who to concentrate on 😉
priptona-weird: And…one last shot of the bare chests…just because! I love this photo. Any excuse to get his nips out 😉
Simple Minds pin-up. Jackie magazine, 1982.
Aaww! This photo was being used while promoting the Sparkle In The Rain re-issues and deluxe/super deluxe editions – but not in colour!! It’s lovely in colour. Jim is divine :-)) It’s from a 1984 edition of Jackie magazine, but the date of the photoshoot was late 1982.
Bring me flowers, Jim. I don’t care if they’re dead ones! Simple Minds by statue of Gandhi.
