Such a wonderfully written piece by Sir today. I still have that envious feeling! Like I did when I read the Bowie biography I read years back. Through the hectic MainMan years…and, oh, to have been Coco Schwab! What an amazing life she’s had, being by his side. Of course, the bit that tugs at…
1/12 From the very first time I heard it as a 15 year old. It gave me goosebumps. I sat there stunned. I don’t think I had ever heard a piece so beautiful. I cried. It still makes me feel that way more than 30 years on. Thank you, David, for all the beautiful music….
2/12 “Open up your heart to me / show me all you are.”
3/12 “Don’t ask me! I don’t know any hallways.”
4/12 “Make love only once but dream and dream.”
5/12 “Research has pierced all extremes of my sex – call it a day.”
I will always be glad of being left-handed. Source: Wikipedia
6/12 “I’m in tears again.”
7/12 “I can see it now. I can feel it die.” This is what this whole album means to me…not just this one song. Watch David. Just watch him! Look at that emotion in this performance! I will never forget you, David. I will always love you ??????
