A great interview with Ken Scott, talking quite broadly about his time producing Bowie albums Hunky Dory, Ziggy, Aladdin Sane and Pin-Ups. Also a reissue review of the Low/Heroes/Lodger/Stage/Scary Monsters 180gm vinyl albums (for those of us who still haven’t bothered/won £500 on a scratch card to “invest” in ANCIANT box set). Can’t say I…
Wow, Mr David Bowie…I do love you! Listen to that voice! Wunderbar! I love these vocals isolations…and WHAT A VOICE to isolate!
Went to Ikea on Wednesday…got a few frames… This is the only one hanging, for now…and yes, there is a portrait in a landscape frame but I only have three landscape photos. Never mind.

So, Bowie fans out there, if you’d like to win a typography with your personal choice of songs (a minimum of 30, up to 50)…just comment here…with a fave Bowie song, or album, or…
Wowzers! Go Midge!
Celebrating its release date anniversary (in the US…it doesn’t get a release in the UK until April 1971) today. And seeing as I referred to this track when discussing Lady Grinning Soul in a recent post, it seemed appropriate to share the PURE SEX that is She Shook Me Cold. Incredible Ronson guitar and Visconti…
Went into town to FINALLY become a blood donor…(which…didn’t go to plan…never mind…trying again on Saturday) And on the way, stopped into the HMV. With £24 of vouchers to spend, I settled on these…I mean, HOW COULD I PASS UP a copy of Young Americans for £9.99?!! I couldn’t!. And…I just love, love, love Diamond…
